Bloom Energy (BE): Research, Key Data and Valuation History

AHNIM STUDIO | BE research tracker

Last evidence review: October 15, 2026 (Asia/Seoul). This page brings together our current assessment, dated source data, outstanding tests and research changes. Financial periods and document publication dates are retained below. A review date does not make a June balance sheet an October balance sheet.

The business and our current assessment

Bloom Energy supplies fuel-cell systems and related services. For our investment work, the central chain is a firm equipment obligation, manufacturing and delivery, customer acceptance, recognized revenue and cash collection. Customer demand can expand more rapidly than the cash that ultimately accrues to each share.

Current judgment: the named Google/AEP project improves visibility into a customer and execution path. Our dated October 12 scenario model remains US$71 Bear / US$216 Base / US$377 Bull at December 31, 2027, using 2028 adjusted EBITDA. These are AHNIM conditional assumptions, not company guidance or present intrinsic values. Read the complete model and capital bridge.

Reviewed October 15, 2026. Company guidance is labeled separately from reported results. No live market price is used.

The US$4 billion is AEP’s total planned investment, not a disclosed Bloom equipment order value or immediate revenue. The project appears to advance the previously disclosed AEP development; our linked analysis explains the inference and the risk of counting the same procurement twice. Valuation reference and broker expectations

Our Base uses US$8.5 billion 2028 revenue, a 27% adjusted EBITDA margin and a 30× multiple. The original calculation is (8,500 × 27% × 30 + 3,041.172997 − 239.899) ÷ 332.459229 = US$215.52, rounded to US$216. Amounts and economic claims are in millions. The forecast cash bridge, conversion treatment and future award allowance have significant limitations explained in the original research; this tracker does not independently replace that full model.

Stock Analysis / S&P Global shows a US$284.58 average from 29 analysts, updated and accessed October 15. The mechanical gap from our published US$216 Base is 24.1%. This is a screening comparison with a horizon mismatch: broker targets are rolling one-year estimates, while our model is fixed at end-2027. A strictly matched-period comparison is unavailable. The average is not an input to our own target. [4]

Baird’s new US$351 target is a 13.2% increase from US$310. We confirmed the dated secondary report, not the full proprietary note; it does not provide enough detail to attribute the increase to a specific earnings revision. We record the outside view without raising our own estimate. Our lower Base partly reflects lower earnings assumptions in the published model; the complete differences in broker cash, debt and share-count assumptions remain unreconciled.

What would change our judgment

The next useful evidence is a non-overlapping shipment schedule, customer acceptance, realized product and service margins and cash collection after the cost of supporting deliveries. A disclosed purchase commitment is stronger than a project intention; recognized revenue is stronger evidence of execution than booked capacity, while cash collection tests a different part of the economics.

We would revise the model when those facts justify changing revenue timing, sustainable profitability, net investment or dilution. Unexpected installation costs, slower acceptance or funding that consumes more ownership could offset demand growth. We preserve the prior assumptions while these results are pending.
